I was doing an integration recently for a client's application to aweber using OAuth2 and I ran into the error stated below

Code: [Select]
Fatal error: Call to undefined function League\OAuth2\Client\Provider\random_bytes() in /path/to/admin/aweber/vendor/league/oauth2-client/src/Provider/AbstractProvider.php on line 305
It took a while to figure this out, but it was simply fixed by upgrading PHP version from 5.6 to PHP7.2

I hope this helps save someone's time :)

Hi there,

If you a

The ability to add or to style the select option element is limited generally, both in HTML and Bootstrap too. But there are awesome 3rd party jquery plugins that helps to make this easy for developers like me  :)

My favorite plugin for this action is

It is provided by an awesome team who support it, and most interestingly, it is absolutely free to use!

So, here's how I go about it...

First, I add the CSS and Javascript files to the project page. I prefer to use the CDN version. As at when I am writing this post, the latest version links are as found below:

Code: [Select]
<!-- Latest compiled and minified CSS -->
<link rel="stylesheet" href="">

<!-- Latest compiled and minified JavaScript -->
<script src=""></script>

But you can always get the link to the latest version on Github page here

The next thing is to add the class "selectpicker" to the specific list I wish to customise, as below.

Code: [Select]
<select name="whatever" class="selectpicker">

And finally, I add the custom style I want in the project. Normally, I use this for images, but you can do a lot more with it.
Here is a code to my complete usage in select option on a project with bootstrap theme.

Code: [Select]
<select class="form-control selectpicker" name="country">
<option value="United States" data-content="<img src='us.png' />"> United States </option>

The "<img src='us.png' />" will reflect the correct path to my image.

Hope this helps you.

  • bootstrap 4 styled select
  • bootstrap 4 select option with image
  • HTML styled select
  • HTML select option with image
When trying to make a greeting message for your website visitors, there are 2 main questions that comes to mind.
  • What timezone is your client on?
  • What timezone do you want the greeting in?

Wondered why you get "GOOD MORNING" When you visit a website in the afternoon? It is simple, the time is being taken probably from the server time or the programmer used a timezone that is different from yours. So, I guess answering these questions solves 50% of the challenge.

Now, I always prefer you pick the visitor's time and timezone from the visiting device - remember it is a customized message  :)

Alright, into the main deal...

My example will be done with PHP, but it is pretty the same flow for every programming language.

First, I will have the client's timezone at the top of the page(s)

Code: [Select]
$timzoneInfo = file_get_contents('');
$timezoneInfo = json_decode($timzoneInfo);
$timezone = $ipInfo->timezone;

Then, I will write a function to return the greeting as follows

Code: [Select]
function GetGreeting($clientTime = date("G")) {
  //Get user timezone
    if ($clientTime < 12) {
      $greeting = 'good morning';
    } else if ($clientTime < 17) {
      $greeting = 'good afternoon';
    } else {
      $greeting = 'good evening';
    return $greeting;

But if what you want is to show time like "5 days ago", then timeago jquery plugin is a good option to make use of.

Text overlapping in Revslider is a common error that could cause a developer stress, especially if its your first encounter with such error.

Why do text  overlap in revslider? And how can you make the revolution slider text responsive on all devices?

Overlapping text in the slider is commonly caused by text on different layers placed in absolute position. And the best solution I found to this is:
  • Make all the text stay in one layer
  • then format to match your need with HTML

If you have encountered such error and have an alternative way to fix it, then please share.
Website Design & Programming / How to Force Greenpadlock SSL on Cpanel Hosting
« Last post by christogonus on April 01, 2019, 01:57:19 PM »
Hi there,

If you have installed SSL on your server and still see the insecure note in web browser, then this is what I think you should do.

This post is not about the step-by-step guide to SSL Certificate installation. You can contact your hosting provider to do that for you. It doesnt take up to an hour to complete.

Forcing the use of HTTPS:// on your site will ensure that visitors to your site are always using HTTPS:// and aren't able to access an insecure HTTP:// URL.

This is recommended since if a visitor does access your site as HTTP://, everything will be marked as "Not Secure".

Below code is for forcing HTTPs on an Apache webserver. If you are using another webserver such as lighttpd, nginx, etc you will need to contact your web hosting provider for assistance.

Add the following code to the .htaccess file in your webhosting account:

Code: [Select]
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} affimpact\.com [NC]
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80
RewriteRule ^(.*)$$1 [R,L]

NOTE: change affimpact to your domain name, and com to your TLD (info, org, net, etc)

Once this change is made your site will no longer be accessible on the insecure "HTTP://" URLs and all visitors will be redirected to "HTTPS://" instead.

If you have any questions, then you can ask.
Scam Reports & Reviews / The – Don’t Buy Into the Hype.

Name: ViralPay
Program Type: Refer To Earn
Overall Rank: 0 out of 100 points

The Product

They are simply using you to make money from CPA OFFERS. You take surveys, they get paid.
I know that your exclamation will be, "Then I'll get paid too!"

You are not wrong to feel that way, but they will not pay you! No CPA offer allows you to deceive users into giving their data. So, they will get banned someday and they will have more business to do.

They could sell your email, or start sending you crap marking emails. I call it crap because you did not solicit for it - I use email marketing too. But I try to market to people with their consent.

Now, let's get to the real gist.

I am not here to paint words or to take someone's business to the ground.

The facts:

1. Domain name registration

The domain name (as seen on WHOIS) was registered on March 09, 2019 as against the 2015 quoted on their website as their date of being in business.

2. Fake Affiliate Program & Payment Notification

They understand that you want an easy click to money, so they promise to give you $10 and more for anyone who you refer.
Man by nature is greedy, so the first thing on your mind is "I can bring 10 people per day - easy $$".  So they have designed banners, youtube review videos, and content you will share to increase audience.

But none of that is to your benefit. They know what greed can make you do, so they show you fake notifications of payments.

I have no issues what you do with your spare time, I just thought it would be nice to save this time for you. But if you choose to spend some more time on the website, then please do. I guarantee that you will not regret it - you will only learn a lesson :)

If you are looking to make money online, then understand that it requires hard work.
If it sounds too good to be true, then it is not true!
